The Wildlife Achievement Chapter, Inc., part of the Izaak Walton League of America, established in 1937, is located near Damascus, Maryland. It spans over 120 acres in northern Montgomery County and offers a variety of activities focused on conservation, wildlife, and environmental education. The chapter features a 100-yard rifle range, 50 and 35-yard pistol ranges, an air rifle program and range, youth activities, Boy Scouts involvement, skeet & trap & 5 stand sporting clays fields, Cowboy Action Shoots, and numerous social events. It aims to promote the stewardship of land and resources, understanding of nature, and the value of wildlife and open spaces.
Rifle and pistol ranges are open for members and their guest only from 10:00 AM to dusk. All ranges are for members and their guest only, not open to the general public. Special events, training, or sanctioned events may have exceptions.
