The Skowhegan Sportsmans Club, incorporated on June 29, 1950, is dedicated to promoting sport with rod and gun through educational programs, public safety training, and wildlife conservation education. It supports local charities and education organizations within its community in Maine. The club offers a heated clubhouse with a full kitchen, a 50-yard pistol range, a 300-yard rifle range, and is in the process of completing shotgun sports fields. Membership is required for access, and the club is volunteer-run.
Clubhouse and ranges are for safety classes for the public and members, no longer available for rent. Membership is required, open to public during announced shoots.
