The Iosco Sportsmens Club operates two ranges: the Wurtsmith Range in Oscoda, Michigan, and the East Tawas Range in East Tawas, Michigan. The Wurtsmith Range hosts IDPA style practice, steel plate pistol shoots, and has rifle distances up to 600 yards with matches for different classes. The shotgun range includes Trap, Skeet, and 5-Stand, and the archery range features 3-D targets. The East Tawas Range offers 25, 50, and 100 yard distances for pistol, rifle, and black powder shooting, with events like 22 rimfire matches and benchrest score matches.
The ranges have specific days and times for public access, and events may change due to weather or unforeseeable events. The Wurtsmith Range is open to the public on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the summer months.
